Abstract
Based on theory analysis and experimental application, a new theory on energy saving transportation technology with lowfrequency pump system for ultra-throughput is established. Theoretical research shows that for the variable frequency pump transportation system worked at low-frequency (below power frequency), in consideration of a heavy surplus power of motor, current and power of motor can not exceed its rated value even though the flowrate of pump is greatly higher than its rated discharge capacity, which will make the pump set running more safe and effective. During frequency varying, some factors in pump discharge capacity, current/power/temperature of motor and the economy in energy saving should be integrated as the fundamental and the unit energy consumption for oil transportation is considered as sole factor to assess the pump system in energy saving. This technology has been used in Yakela Gas Gathering Station. Results show that individual pump provides a twice flowrate than the rated value under 35 Hz low frequency condition, and a 73.7% of power is saved for per ton crude oil.
