Programs comparison and construction of the Yesanhe River Overhead Crossing NG Project of Sichuan-to-East Gas

  • According to the construction requirements of large-diameter and dual-pipe laying with one-up way, hydrotest and inspection of pipeline and big fall and large-span operation environment of the Yesanhe River Overhead Crossing Project, programs available including the suspension bridge, truss slant-legged rigid frame bridge and CFST arch bridge were compared to make a decision of an optimal candidate. The vortex vibration testing with large-scale section model, three-component testing and wind tunnel testing with full bridge aeroelastic model were carried out. The aerodynamics elimination method for vortex vibration and the wind load parameters of full bridge aerostatic load could be given based on the test results. And the initial tension of wind cable was determined as 2400 kN, and the original design of the wind cable for coarse diameter steel-core wire rope was changed from 92ZAA6Х55SWS+IWR1770 to 100ZAA6Х55SWS+IWR1770. The pylon, main cable, girder, suspender and anchor group of the Yesanhe River main suspension bridge were five key points to the quality control during construction stage. Based on the real-time monitoring data of every control point, the method by adjusting control parameters was proved to be highly effective
