  • Soot removing operation for tubular heater will cause environmental pollution, so it is necessary to develop a kind of environmentally friendly soot remover. The technical questions to be solved are as follows: (1) under the conditions of initial heater structure and thermal efficiency, 98% of soot in flue gas should be removed; (2) the poor conditions in the gas flue consisted of oil drop, asphalt, carbon black and impurities which is hard to remove, characteristics of the flue in lower volume weight and smaller particle size of 98% being less than 1 μm with floatability and/or viscosity should be taken into account and (3) the excellent load availability that soot remover can deal with a sharp increase soot volume with the instantaneous high concentration soot when it is removed should be designed. Based on calculation results of related flue gas data, requirements on soot controller are put forward. Through calculating relative design parameters, the soot removing structure and control mode are designed, which realizes the automatic control process from soot blowing to removing. This model group theory makes the organic combination for all equipments based on flue gas volume and workshop space. The prototype has been used in Suining Pump Station, showing excellent performance and reaching expectation.
