Apply Relief Valve against Surge to Protect Long-distance Pipeline

Take the PetroChina Pipeline Company as an example, this paper introduces and discusses the application of relief valve against surge to protect pipelines. Through comparison on the performances of different relief valves, the authors studies the necessity to technically improve on imported relief valves to effectively apply in domestic pipelines.
