Abstract
Gas hydrate storage involves many factors, such as hydrate structures, temperature-pressure conditions in hydrate formation and dissociation, etc.. Experimental technology is available to study the problem. Based on previous work of four hydrate structuresm it analysis their characteristics and structure H is found to be the best structure to storage gas hydrate. According to comparing various hydrate promotors and their experimental conditions, it indicates that methylcyclohexane is a good promotor to form structure H hydrates, better ones should be found out, however. So far, the best temperature-pressure condition is in the methane-cyclopentane system. But it forms structure II hydrates, whose storage capacity is not so good. It can be confirmed by calculating the gas storage ratio of hydrates formed with different promotors.
