The Study of Real-Time Monitoring Technique in Landslide and Mudflow Prediction

  • The geological hazard, such as landslide and mudflow, etc. may cause fatal hidden trouble for the safety of gas-oil pipeline in service. This paper includes sum-ups of current studying status of landslide and mudflow quantitative prediction through remote sensing (RS), GPS and GIS technology, and presents two non-linear prediction modes for landslide. In order to protect major gas-oil pipelines in the West of China, therefore, a set of technique scheme for real-time monitoring and quantitative prediction in landslide and mudflow is suggested.
