Impact of Shear Stress of Pipe Wall on Wax Deposition

According to Fick's equation, deposit coefficient of the wax molecule crystallization that diffuses to the pipe wall is proposed to describe the impacts of the flow on the wax deposition. Wax deposition of Xinjiang crude oil is investigated on a test loop and the following conclusion can be derived: the deposit coefficient decreases as the shear stress at the pipe wall increases incurred by the change of the temperature or velocity of tile flow.
