The History of Golmud—Lhasa Product Pipeline and the Future Development Program of the Pipeline

The historical situations at the design, construction and operation of Golmud—Lhasa product pipeline are reviewed. In the light of the technical problems on process system, anti-corrosion system and equipment system, a systematic analysis has been carried out. A technical reform program of the pipeline based on the analytical results has been worked out, in which the pump station control and centralized control through control center will be realized to the reformed pipeline within 5 years.
