Abstract
The friction-electrochemical experimental instruments with rotary coupons had been designed and tested. These instruments were used to investigate the synergism between wear and corrosion. The total weight loss, the plain erosion weight loss, the plain corrosion weight loss and the synergism part in erosion-corrosion process were measured by weighing and electrochemical methods. In addition, the synergism part could be also divided into two subsections: erosion addition and corrosion addition that could be also calculated from above measurements. These data could be used to study the material weight-loss models in erosion-corrosion process.
