Analysis on Sealing Mechanics of Secondary Seal

In this paper, the structure and sealing mechanics of primary seal and secondary seal are separately introduced and the sealing effectiveness of primary seal with the secondary seal installed in the floating roof tank has been compared. The sealing mechanics of secondary seal in the respect of controlling the surface temperature of liquid stored and its change as well as the light component loss induced in reducing the wind load is especially analyzed.
