Abstract
In this paper, the rheology characteristics of oil-water emulsion of slug flow under the disturbance of gas in vertical pipes is discussed. A new viscosity model of oil-water emulsion flowing in pipeline is purposed. Based on this model, gas, oil-water emulsion flow in a vertical upward pipe with various three hydrodynamic characteristics, namely, non-Newtonian fluid characteristics with gas disturbance thickening, non-Newtonian fluid characteristics with gas disturbance weakening, Newtonian fluid characteristics with gas disturbance irrespective.
