The Application of PLC in the Automatic Control System of Pumping Station

The paper introduces the function of PLC in the automatic control system of pumping station. PLC has many advantages, such as stronger control ability, reliable operation, simple programming, flexible operation, easy to care, better stability, and stonger antijam capability. Taking PLC as a control kernal of pumping station of SCADA system, the automatic control capability of pipeline and the productivity of labour can be increased in order to ensure the safe operation of pipeline.
