Simulation System of Taqing--Tieling Oil Pipeline

The computer simulation technology has been gradually adopted in the design, staffs training and management of oil pipeline. The paper introduces a oil pipeline computer simulation and training system which are specially developed for Daqing-Tieling oil pipeline. The kernal of the system is a simulation engine for Daqing-Tieling oil pipeline. The base of the system is a database. The system is linked by LAN (local area network) and has the same GUI (graphic user interface) with the actual SCADA system. The research and development of the system are important experience for developing on-line real-time simulation system in the actual pipeline SCADA system.
