The Calculation of Drag Reduction Rate and the Factors which Affect the Rate when Slip Exists in Pipe Flow
When the velocity of a fluid in a pipe is greater than critical velocity, slip will happen. The analysis shows that the ship has a close relation to drag reduction. In this paper, the model and the factors which affect the drag reduction rate are given.
