Economic Comparison on the Operating Way of Qinhuangdao-Beijing Oil Pipeline

The cost structure of energy consumption of hot oil pipeline has greatly taken place by the constant increment of electrovalency and great drawdown of heating oil price. The paper analyzes the actual operating condition on Qinhuangdao-Beijing oil pipeline to determine whether to control the inlet oil temperature in order to decrease the cost of energy consumption and how to workout a more reasonable operating program to match the new price system of energy consumption, compares the unit costs of energy consumption and operating ways under the various operating ways at different oil/electricity prices, calculates the economic inlet temperature, and presents the economic operating way of pumps combination as well as the control scope of optimum inlet temperature.
