The Study of Physics Method of Increasing Efficiency in Crude Oil Transportation

  • Kinematic viscosity of crude oil fluctuates. The fluctuation is unfixed, which is impossible to be foreseen, and the stability of transportation will be influenced. The method of controlling flowrate to transportat is presented. The comparison of three physics methods of oil transportation in controlling crude oil's temperature, viscosity, and flow in heated pipeline has been made. It is pointed out that the method of controlling flowrate can be directly reflect the actual throughput of crude oil and situation of wax deposit on pipe wall, and saving fuel oil and enhancing transportation efficiency can be realized with this method.
