Gas-to-Liquids Technology and Its Developing Prospects

The paper reviews the development of gas-to-liquids technology in the world, and points out that the key technology of gas-to-liquids is the synthetic gas production, F-T reactor design, and catalyst development. The trend in the three aspects and the prospects of gas-to-liquids technology are respectively described and forcasted. The results on economical comparison show that the investment of GTL is lower than that of LNG, and GTL technology is provided with a bright application prospects as a new way to transport and apply natural gas.
