On Metering and Calibrtion of PD Flowmeter

PD flowmeter (Roots flowmeter)is widely used in crude oil transportation. The paper introduces the structure, application, and suitability of PD flowmeter, analyzes the problems arisen in metering and calibration oil transportation and the influence of the design of calibration flowsheet, leakage of cross valve, and change of medium viscosity on calibration results. Based on experience, some suggestions are set forth.
