Relationships on Development of Pipeline Industry and Progress of Metallurgical Technology

The paper describes the relationships between the development of pipeline industry and the progress of metallurgical technology on the pipeline rupture, grades of line pipe, and HIC of pipeline, analyzes some cases. It is pointed out that there is a closer relation between the progress of metallurgical technology and the development of pipeline industry, and only after strengthening the study of pipe steel and raising the state-of-art of metallurgical industry can the mutual promotion and development realize.
