Feasibility Study of Ultrasonic Application in the Viscous Crude Transportation

The paper analyzes the status quo of viscous crude transportation in oilfield, proposes the feasibility of ultrasonic application in viscous crude transportation, introduces in details the cavita-tion and emulsification functions of ultrasonic in viscosity reduction, and analyzes the mechanism of ultrasonic's function. The effect of viscosity reduction has been proven through tests.
