Application of Dynamic Simulation in the Process Design of Gas Transmission Pipeline

The paper summarizes the function of the dynamic simulation in the process design of gas transmission pipeline, describes the limitation of steady-state process design, and sets forth the method for the basic principle and steps of dynamic design. Based on the comparison and analysis of the steady and/or dynamic design cases, it is pointed out that the dynamic simulation is the key to the enhancing the process level of gas transmission pipeline.
