All-position Automatic Welding Technique for Pipeline

The component and structure of all-poisition automatic welding machine for pipeline are introduced. The paper analyzes the features of automatic welding process and gas metal arc welding process commonly used in pipeline project and the problems existed in them. The control methods about welding speed of the walk mechanism, feed speed, and motion frequency in double-direction of welding torch are given.
