Accidents Analysis and Prevention of Accidents in Petroleum Gas Storage and Transportation

The catastrofic accidents of petroleum gas, like fire and explosion, mainly happened during its storage and transportation, which brought about injuries and deaths as well as proterty's loss. For this purpose, the paper summarizes the dangerous behaviours of petroleum gas in 8 aspects and analyzes some typical accidents based on explosion cases, and describes some basic methods in preventing accidents, dealing with accident results and reducing accident loss.
