The Selection of Light Naphtha Storage Facilities and Its Techno-economical Comparison

  • Two 10 000 m3 vertical tanks for light naphtha will be constructed in Suanshan of Zhejiang Province. The selection of tank and its cooling system have been made. Through comparison to the storage way of spherical tank on techno-economical index, it is considered that the storage way of vertical tank for light naphtha at lowered temperature and pressure is better than the spherical tank of that at ambiant temperature at low pressure. Meanwhile, by comparing the ammonia cooling compressor and freon cooling compressor unit to the lithium bromide cooling compressor unit on the characteristics, price and environment protection, it is suggested that the lithium bromide cooling compressor unit should be used for the lowered temperature and pressure facilities.
