Calculations on the Mixing Oil Volume of Sequence Transportation of Oil Product in the Batch and Variable Diameter Pipes

The paper introduces some equations used to calculate the volume of mixing oil for oil product pipeline, and analyzes the application of Aus tin-Palfrey equation. In the light of the more branch lines with different diameters' pipes along the pipeline under the variable throughput, the paper sets forth a concept that uses a equivalent length of mixing oil, which opens up the application scope of Austin-Palfrey equation.
