Absorption, separation and recovery technologies for evaporating oil hydrocarbon

  • The problem of oil product loss caused by evaporation is a much important research topic in oil storage & transportation and environmental protection as well at home and aboard. As an efficient cut-down measure, the technology of recovery and treatment for evaporated hydrocarbon represents a main orientation in present research work. Approached the availability of the absorbing recovery technology in production of hydrocarbon at home and selection of absorbents. As activated carbon absorbent is of higher property and price ratio, it shall be investigated and studied as first selected absorbent Primary test and research on activated carbon absorbent showed that commercial conventional activated carbon's absorbing rate of hydrocarbon evaporation, at 20~40℃, was usually between 0.23~0.30℃. Testing result also showed that providing cooling in the process of absorption would raise absorbing rate.
