Some technical problems about high elevation pipeline

  • Aiming at the technical problems of higher static pressure and dynamic pressure in high elevation product pipeline and combined with actual conditions in Lanzhou-Chengdu Product Pipeline, put forward concrete solving measures. In normal transportation process, variable diameter pipe is used in design to solve the problem of higher dynamic pressure, analyzed the result from hydraulic calculation in variable diameter pipeline design. As there are higher elevation over the districts where the pipeline passing across, static pressure blocking will be adopted in shutting down and intermittent transportation used for low flow rate to reduce static pressure. And put forward concrete measures to prevent from partial flow phenomenon.
