  • Analyzes various factors required to be considered about hydraulic protection in pipeline construction in loess region from four aspects by investigation study on pipeline problems resulting from hydraulic protection occurred in loess region over Shaanjing Gas Transmission Pipeline construction combined with experience in local hydraulic protection.Puts forward that hydraulic protection in loess region shall conform to principles of drain, dredge and blocking, and using straw-woven bag filled with soil to build up hydraulic protection structure and lime material are reasonable in economic and effective in safety.It shows by analyzing treatment method to gully end and concrete applicable example of retaining wall that hydraulic protection in pipeline construction is a systematic engineering.Various measures must be taken integrally to make pipeline hydraulic protection available and a good foundation for pipeline's safety operation.
