Development in study on frictional resistance coefficient of gas transmission pipeline

  • Lists calculation formulae of turbulent frictional resistance coefficient issued publicly at home and abroad and applied at field, summarizes several methods studying relational expressions among frictional resistance coefficient, Reynolds number and roughness, and gets calculation formulae of frictional resistance coefficient applicable for individual smooth pipe, partial-rough pipe and full-rough pipe by means of theoretical derivation and field data from Sichuan Oil Field.In accuracy comparison of these formulae to Panhandle formula with field data measured additionally, result shows that average error between the formerand the latter lies less than 9% at least.
