The First Application of COW-the Mechanical Cleaning Equipment of Tank in China

The paper introduces in details the first application of COW-the introduced mechanical cleaning e-quipment from Nippon-in Dongying initial pumping station. The cleaning equipment has got many advantages of high mechanization, short operating period, high safety and reliability, high oil recovery rate, contamination free and a high comprehensive benefits. Meanwhile, the composition of the COW and its on-site allocation is described, and what to pay more attention during the cleaning construction is given.
