The Effect of Solidification Point of Drugged Oil on Inlet Temperature

  • The several tests on the transportation process for the oil added pour point depressant have been made to verify the rationality of inlet temperature in Weijin oil pipeline. The conclusion is that the solidification point of drugged oil measured with the direct method is decreased as the inlet temperature is declined, which closes to the solidification point measured with the GB method. Therefore, the inlet temperature can be decreased under the residual pressure of pipeline, or utilizing the optimized program of non-boosting operation for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stations at different seasons in order to cut down the operational cost.
