The Application of Chemical Cleaning Technique in Heater Tube Cleaning

The chemical cleaning technique has been adopted to clean the wax-deposited and coked heater tube in Suining pump station. Comparing with the conventional overhaul method, this technique has the advantages of simple and safe construction, the cleaning agent can not corrode the heater tube and is suited to the complex internal surface of tube, the cleaning period is only a tenth of the overhaul period with low cleaning cost. The operaing parameters of the cleaned heater show that the original design performance of heater has returned, the temperature difference and pressure difference of oil outlet keep to the specified range.
