The Development of the Simulation Technology of Foreign Pipeline

The computer simulation technology has been widely used in the pipeline design, operating management and staffs training in the pipeline industry. The simulating software of pipeline provides a powerful tool for the dynamic analysis of hydraulic characteristics and the determination of operating plan, as well as the detection and analysis of pipeline leakage. In the on-line (real time simulation) and off-line simulation, the development and application in the simulation technology of foreign pipelines are respectively introduced, and especially the models'functions of on-line simulation softwares and relationships between them.
