Structures and Maintenances of Pumps

Based on the analysis and comparison of the structures and/or maintenances for medium-specific-speed Thyssen pump.Bingham pump and domestic pumps, the paper introduces the pumps' volute casings, impellers, wear rings, whirl chambers, mechanical chambers, bearings and lubricating systems. The performances (comprehensive indexes)of these pumps are very good, especially, Thyssen and Bingham pumps are playing an important role in long-distance pipelines at home and abroad at present. Meanwhile, the paper points out that the prices of the pumps imported are quite high, and purchasing procedures are complicated although they have respectively reasonable structures, good performances, high working efficiencies and convenient maintenances.
