Modificating the Transportation Process of Linyuan Initial Pumping Station

The modification plan has been worked out and put into effect in light of the problems of low safety and reliability, high consumption of energy and low effectiveness equipments existed in the transportation system in Daqing-Qinhuangdao Oil Pipeline. The actions taken include; cutting off the low pressure pipings and cast iron valves aside the low pressure pipeline in the metering room; transforming the process flow between the valve groups and between the tank farms as well as the process flow aside the high pressure pipeline; and replacing the pump units. The calculated results show that the improved system can meet the needs of high safety and reliability, low consumption of energy in operation.
