The Process of Realizing Oil Transportation by Controlling Flow

When crude oil flow is definite, the temperature of oil is closely related to its physical and chemical properties. The process of realizing oil transportation by controlling oil flow is put forward based on the mathematical model established between temperature and flow. The feature is that controlling crude oil's temperature in pipeline by flow control system makes outlet oil flow equal to given value. Comparisons are made among the flow control system and temperature control system as well as viscosity control system, and the flow block chart of flow control system is given. The flow controlling transportation process can be applied to the "cold transportation", that is, adjusting the additive content of diluent, thinner or pour point depressant added to oil by controlling oil flow in order to reach energy saving.
