A Conception of Automatic Submerged-arc Welding Used in Welding in AH Position

This paper discusses the conception of automatic submerged-arc welding used in welding in all position. In consideration of the needs of pipelines welding engineering, the automatic submerged-arc welding e-quipments used in level and across position will be refitted to welding in all position, and it discusses the design of welding manipulator, ring track, walk mechanism, flux pile and preventing drop mechanism, flux carriage and reclamation system. It provides a new idea for the welding of pipelines automatic mechanization. This welding procedure will have a broad prospects.
