Automatic Grinding Method for Circumferential Seam of Tank

During tank welding, there are mannal and automatic methods used in grinding circumferential root bead. The paper introduces automatic carbon arc plane, power grinder and spark cutter used in grinding root bead, and gives some features of every automatic grinding methods and their servicing units necessary to grinding. The application of automatic grinding machine is considered to speed up the welding operation for oil tanks.
