Design on Layout of Liquid Hydrocarbons and Flammable Liquid Tank Field

Some standards and codes will be adopted in the design on liquid hydrocarbons and flammable liquid tank farm, such as Fire Control Code for Petrochemical Enterprises (FCCPE), Design Code of Petroleum Storage Park(DCPSP), Design Code of Inflammable Gas Used in City and Town and Fire Control Standard for Building Design(FCSBD). Because of their different requirements, the standards and codes differs in the same layout, which brings about some differences on the design. The problems are that whether the pipeline can be laid out or not between the liquid hydrocarbons tank fields, how to do in accordance with the FCCPE and DCPSP on the layout design for crude oil tank farm in refinery, which code should be adopted for the fire range between the FCCPE and FCSBD. The paper reminds the standard departments concerned to attach importance to these problems the said above.
