An Overview of the Pipeline Pigging and Pressure Test in Lun-Korla Oil Pipeline

The paper introduces the method and process of the pipeline pigging and pressure test in Lun-Korla oil pipeline according to the pipeline constructed under the conditon of rigorous environment, and analyzes the cause of pipe rupture during pressure test. It is pointed out that the pipe quality must be further improved, the impact flexibility of welding seam remains to be enhanced, and at the same time it is considered that the work which are carried on for the pipeline pigging, pressure test and rush repair are successful, which plays an important role in pipeline commissioning on the predetermined date.
