Selecting Multiple Access of Satellite Communication for Shann-Jing Gas Transmission Pipeline

Abstract
The multiple access of satellite communication network with various VSATs, which is applicable to different communication networks, has different strong and weak points. SCPC differentiats the information from different VSATs by means of transmiting different frequency signals, which is mainly applied to point to point communication and VSAT to VSAT continuous bit connection. TDM/TDMA use the same freqency of transponder to distribute to several VSATs accoring to the need, and these VSATs can seize the space segment resources only when the information transmission goes on at VSATs, so the space segment resources can be fully used, and this way is applicable to the communication network with less information. The communication network of Shann-Jing Gas Transmission Pipeline (Jingbian, Shannxi Province to Beijing) is a typical star configuration, the VSAT system adopts SCPC + TDM/TDMA to hybrid communication.
