Consideration on Increasing Benefits in Oil and Gas Pipeline

  • In order to increase the economic benefit of oil and gas pipeline, it is necessary to analyze the situation of oil and gas pipeline of our country. There is total length of 17 882 km pipeline in our country till now. The utilization rate of the pipeline transportation capacity is less than 60% and efficiency of oil pumps is as much as 60%-70%, effciency of heaters is at the level of 65%-75%. This indicates that labour productivity in our country is lower than those in developed countries. Although the advanced technology and equipment have been imported from abroad, they have not brought any obvious benefit. Pipeline transportation in oil fields hasn't paid back for itself, as the tariff of pipeline transportation is lower. This causes heavy loss for enterprises. The article has put forward that the most important tasks are deepening the economic reform, establishing modernized enterprise system and forming regulations which is favorable to economizing resources, decrease energy consumption, increasing efficiency, improving oil processing technology and performing key researches on raising pump & heater efficiency. We will only gain our benefit from science technology and scientific management.
