Process Analysis of "One Pump Boosting Operation Mode" in Pu-Lin Line

  • With the decrease of production in Zhongyuan Oilfield the oil throughput rate of Pu - Lin Line has been reducing year by year. The-method-of valve throttling is usually lised to resolve the problem of low oil throughput rate versus large capacity pump units, resulting in considerable energy loss. So the process of "one pump boosting operation mode" (only use one pump in Puyang initial pump station) was adopted for the whole Pu-Lin Line and put into practice in April of 19051 The equations on energy loss and economical loss are given in the paper. Comparisons and analyses of the values of energy loss and economical loss are made fbr following two operation modes: 2 pumps in 2 pump stations (Puyang initial pump station and Liaotheng pump station) and one pump only in Puyang initial pump station. The results show that the process of one pump boosting mode can not only reduce energy loss, but also save the pperational costs.
