Analysis and Precautions of Weld Fracture in the Floating Roof of Oil Tank

With an actural case of leakage due to weld fracture in floating cover, the reasons for weld frature in floating cover of oil tank are analyzed in detail in aspects of tank design, construction, maintenance, and operational management. Also given are precautions against weld frature in process of tank design, overhaul and routine maintenance.
