The Injector Used for Oil Tank Cleaning

  • Pitot pipe injectors are used by some foreign companies to prevent oil storage tank from silted up. The jnjector is made up of connecting flanges, main body, turbine, nozzel, mechanical unit, etc. The injector works following the principle as described below: The oil from the externally recycling pump drives the turbine to rotate at high speed, and is sprayed out together with main flow. The high speed jet flow thus formed, guided by the rotating nozzel, scours repeatedly on the tank bottom at an angle of 360° lifting the sediment upto the crude oil to be pumped out, The injector is characterized by high safety and reliability. It is easy to operate, convenient for water draining and the realization of underground (submarine) tank cleaning. It can also bring about such benifits as short shutdown inspection period and low costs for cleaning, corrosion control and power consumption. Working in oil heating mode, it can be used as a substitute for heating coils.
