Brief Introduction on Chamber Furnaces with Heavy Oil as Its Mew Fuel

  • Heavy oil can be used as fuel to replace crued oil for furnaces, which need air atomizing at oil pump stations. What should be done for this purpose is to make fuel oil system seperate from water circling system. It is easy to operate, low in cost, high in eficiency. In addition, waste heat of coal gas can be fully used, therefore it can bring high economic benefit. Changli Pump Station (Qin-Jing Pipeline) is mentioned in the article as an example to illustrate the the upgrading plan of furnaces. The plan of using heavy oil as the fuel for furnaces is worked out on the basis of the analysis on structural characteristics of the furnaces. Through thermal calculation, the process parameters of heavy oil is defined in accordance with the operation requirements. Finally, the writer makes analysis on economic benefit.
