Structure Characteristics of Large Oil Tanks and Their Foundation Requirements

Based on the fact that the tank foundation is supposed to match the upper stucture, analysis is done on the distinguishing feature of the structure of a large oil tark and the requirement for the foundation, Cautions are given for basic design showing the technical properties and the structure of a large oil tank foundation.
