Harmfulness of Petroleum Asphalt and Glass Fiber and Its Prevention

Many investigations and experimental studies have shown that petroleum asphalt has a relatively low toxicity and no clinical case of cancer caused by it has been found up to know, but that attention shall be paid to the danger of its burning. While the rumor that glass fiber can cause death is refuted, it is pointed out that glass fiber has certain harmfulness to worker' skin and mucous membrane and that attention shall be given.
