Analysis on the Breaking Reason of Suspended Point of Xuyi Huaihe River Pineline Bridge

The Xuyi Huaihe River Bridge is a bridge combined with pipeline and road in Lu-Ning Oil Pipeline. The breaking events of pipe-suspended point had been happened in the early date of pipeline completement. This article analyses various factors and concludes the following breaking reasons: 1. not enough consideration of the whole system so that the less load had been evaluated; 2. higher permissible stress had been sellected; 3. the structure was not so reasonable.
