Fire Extinquishing T echniques for FIoating Roof 0il Tank

Details are presented of the analysis of the flame meehanism in open-top tank fire. The calculating formula for combustion front of fire is given. The principles of operation, advantages and linitations of various type of fire extinquishing techniques are discussed with emphasis on the newly designed floating-pipe type foam system. Its configuration, performance and dossage calculation are described.
